Patients we typically evaluate for headache surgery have exhausted most of the non-surgical, less invasive treatment options. These treatments may include avoidance of triggering stimuli, dietary changes, medicinal therapies, physical therapy, injection therapies, and many other protocols. Many patients have been to doctor after doctor and clinic after clinic looking for relief from their life altering chronic daily headache pain. Nerve decompression surgery has been able to provide relief in a certain group of these headache sufferers.

We have developed an extensive protocol to help us determine which patients might have these issues and would be the best candidates for possible nerve decompression surgery for headache.  By best candidate, we mean those patients who are most likely to get the most benefit following the surgery.
